Zoopedia drop questions
- How many animals are in Planet Zoo 2?
- Our 26 September 2026 check covers 117 animals currently listed in the official Zoopedia. Animals shown elsewhere but absent from that list are not counted here.
- When is the next Zoopedia drop?
- The recent weekly updates have generally arrived on Tuesdays, with separate animal spotlights between them. We have not verified a date for the next batch. Check Frontier’s announcements for confirmation.
- Are all Planet Zoo 1 animals returning?
- Do not assume the original game’s full roster or DLC line-up carries over. For a particular species, search the confirmed Planet Zoo 2 list or check Frontier’s official Zoopedia. Absence from today’s list does not rule out a later reveal.
- Can I use these entries to calculate enclosure requirements?
- These reveals confirm names, editions and enclosure categories, not verified space or compatibility values. Our planning tools are still demos; real requirements will be added after in-game verification.
