Planet Zoo 2 lists the shoebill under Habitat – Flying, so it belongs on the aviary shortlist. Its freshwater-swamp ecology does not place it in the Aquarium category.

Is the shoebill an aquarium animal or an aviary bird?

The shoebill, Balaeniceps rex, is a freshwater-swamp bird from tropical East Africa. Its blue-grey plumage and broad, hooked bill distinguish it from smaller wetland birds. Frontier describes a largely solitary fish hunter that waits motionless before striking.

A wetland-themed viewing area could focus on the bill and hunting posture, with planting framing a clear sightline. Keep your sketch flexible: a real-world swamp association does not establish a game water-area minimum or an aquarium classification.
