Crocodylus porosus. Frontier describes a solitary, territorial and aggressive reptile with the strongest bite force ever recorded, glands that let it cope with saltwater, and males that can be four to five times the size of females. Females guard nests on tidal riverbanks and look after hatchlings for months.
