Identify the species
Platax pinnatus is also known as the pinnate spadefish. Frontier describes a striking age-related appearance change: dark juveniles with an orange edge become rounder, silver-to-grey adults with dark bands.

Planning notes for this animal
Allow for the adult appearance when designing signage and choosing a display colour scheme; a juvenile reference image can be misleading. This is a marine fish, despite a name that can be confused with unrelated batfish species.

Do not infer a game group minimum from the varied wild groupings in the official biography. Adult space, group rules and aquarium/exhibit behaviour need release-build checks.
