The aquarium/exhibit categories below identify the official listing; they do not establish the exact water settings or prove that both building systems have identical mechanics.

Check adult-size differences, allowed group composition and the actual species panel before mixing individuals. The real-world account of peaceful proximity with enough space is not a verified in-game compatibility result.
