The four stages of a round
- Read the theme. Pick two visual cues you can actually finish.
- Build the makeup. Establish the main colors and shapes before small decoration.
- Fit lashes and hair. Choose accessories that leave the makeup visible.
- Runway and voting. Look at how the finished result reads, then vote on the other entries.
The official description confirms themed creation, styling, votes and rewards. An independent tutorial reports roughly 300 seconds for styling. The timetable below is our practice budget, not a verified fixed timer for every current mode; follow the timer in your server.
A 300-second practice budget
| Elapsed time | Task | Stop when |
|---|---|---|
| 0–30 seconds | Read the prompt and select a color story. | You can name the eye focal point and lip direction. |
| 30–150 seconds | Lay out the main makeup shapes. | The eyes and lips read as a complete look without accessories. |
| 150–240 seconds | Try hair and lashes; fix obvious overlap. | The eyes remain visible from the front and side. |
| 240–300 seconds | Zoom out, check balance and remove distractions. | One final adjustment improves the whole face. |
If your round is shorter, preserve the order and reduce the detail. Do not spend the last seconds searching for an entirely new hairstyle. Keep one workable choice while testing alternatives.
Paint shapes you can recognize from a distance
Try one shadow color, one clear outer-eye shape and one lip direction. Before drawing fine detail, locate the available undo or correction control. If the interface offers symmetry, check whether it is enabled before making a one-sided accent.
Choose a theme palette as a starting point, then adapt it to the avatar's skin tone and the controls actually available. Our HEX samples are color references, not guaranteed in-game presets. A narrow color range is easier to balance than five equally strong accents.
For a first round, keep hair simple enough to reveal the face. The lash-fitting guide helps when accessories float, disappear or cover your work.
Check stage contrast instead of darkening everything
A look can read differently at another camera distance or under brighter lighting. If a pale lip or eye edge disappears, try a slightly deeper outline on the next attempt. Compare one change at a time, using the same basic look.
“Go one shade darker” is a styling experiment, not a documented universal game rule. Automatically darkening every color can lose the theme or flatten the face. Preserve a light accent and check the difference between adjacent shapes.
Use the result to choose one thing to practise
Judge the result against your own plan: did the theme read, did the accessories fit, and was the face finished? Player votes can vary, so one score does not isolate which choice worked.
- If the theme was unclear, simplify the palette or choose a more recognizable shape.
- If hair covered the eyes, search for an open forehead or a smaller fringe.
- If time ran out, drop a decoration rather than rebuilding the whole face.
- If the game would not open, start with account access troubleshooting.
