What is Krillion?
Krillion is browser trivia built around open questions and less-obvious answers. Instead of picking from four options, you type a response that fits a category. You are trying to recall something valid beyond the familiar first choice.
The original game is at krillion.io. Krillion on Little Fun Games is an independent, inspired edition with its own questions and scoring. This page covers the shared idea, then gives edition-specific instructions so you can follow the right rules.
Choose the game you want before consulting an answer list: matching names do not mean matching daily puzzles.
How to start the original Krillion
At krillion.io, select Begin Descent to start the Daily Dive. The live start screen specifies seven prompts with 25 seconds per prompt. Read the category, type a valid response and aim for a less-familiar choice. Open How to Play on that site for its current rules.
Our examples below teach the habit of checking a category. The detailed points table and untimed-play instructions on this page belong to Little Fun Games, whose own answer lists are separate.
Original Krillion vs Little Fun Games
| Check | Original: krillion.io | Little Fun Games edition |
|---|---|---|
| Where to play | Original game | Independent browser game |
| Answer scoring | The creator’s FAQ describes familiarity data for some questions, with assisted and manual review for others. | Its own answer lists award 10, 30, 60 or 100 editorial points. |
| Highest-tier answers | The creator says the top selection also considers how satisfying the answer is, rather than rarity alone. | Use the points shown in this edition’s answer list. |
| Which answers apply? | The original game’s own prompt and answer set. | Little Fun Games’ prompt and date-specific answer set. |
A score is not a count of how many people typed your answer. In particular, Little Fun Games explicitly describes its points as editorial choices, not live player-popularity measurements.
How to play on Little Fun Games
- Open the daily game. Follow the Little Fun Games play link above. This edition is free and does not require an account; JavaScript must be enabled to play.
- Choose your pace. Normal rounds give you 25 seconds to answer. Enable relaxed play before starting if you want an untimed session.
- Read the category carefully. Identify any limit before typing: a country, a period, a named list or a particular type of thing can narrow the answer set.
- Submit one answer. Once an answer is accepted, that question ends. If it is unrecognized, you can try another response while time remains.
- Review and continue. The daily round ends after seven questions. Check the result and the accepted answers to learn a useful alternative for next time.
The daily set changes at midnight UTC. Unlimited is a separate mode; it is not another name for the seven-question daily round. This edition saves your track record in the current browser, so do not assume a result will appear on another device.
What do points and dive depth mean?
For the Little Fun Games edition, an accepted answer receives one of four scores: 10, 30, 60 or 100. Each point adds ten metres to the displayed depth. Seven answers worth 100 each produce 700 points and 7,000 metres.
For example, a practice score of 10 + 30 + 60 + 100 + 30 + 60 + 10 totals 300 points, or 3,000 metres. This is an arithmetic example, not a result from today’s puzzle.
Compare results from the same edition, date and mode. If one player used hints or untimed play, agree beforehand whether you want to compare those runs. The useful question after a round is which category you misunderstood or which valid answer you forgot.
How to find a better answer under the timer
- Keep one safe candidate in mind. A response you know fits gives you a fallback while you consider alternatives.
- Search the category systematically. For geography, move across a mental map. For a series of books, walk through the titles in order. For a scientific list, recall its groups instead of collecting unrelated terms.
- Check the less-obvious candidate against every restriction. Being obscure does not help if you answered a different question.
- Leave time to type and submit. A complicated name you cannot spell confidently may be a worse choice than a simpler valid answer. Do not use the whole clock deciding.
These are our practice suggestions, not a formula for a guaranteed top tier. A useful review habit is to write down one new valid example and the exact boundary of the category after each missed question.
Practice examples: check the category first
Try these before opening the explanations. They are general-knowledge practice examples, not today’s Krillion prompts, verified game inputs or promised high-scoring answers.
Example 1: a European country vs an EU member
Would Norway fit both descriptions?
Show explanation
Norway is a European country, but it is not an EU member. It fits the broader geographic prompt and fails the narrower membership prompt. Read the qualifier before looking for an unusual choice.
Example 2: a mammal vs a land mammal
Would a dolphin fit either category?
Show explanation
A dolphin is a mammal, but it would not fit a category restricted to land mammals. An animal’s habitat and its biological group are different facts; the prompt determines which matters.
Example 3: a work vs its creator
The question asks for a Shakespeare play. Should you type a person’s name or a title?
Show explanation
Use a play title, such as Macbeth. “William Shakespeare” identifies the author and does not answer a request for a play. Whether a particular game accepts an abbreviation is a separate question.
Where to find Krillion hints and answers
Start by checking the address of the game you played. For Little Fun Games, these are the matching resources:
- Little Fun Games Krillion hints — choose the matching puzzle date and use a nudge before revealing the full list.
- Little Fun Games Krillion answers — expand each category to see the accepted responses and their points. This reveals solutions.
If you played the original at krillion.io, these lists are for a different game. Return to the original to review your run and use its creator FAQ for scoring and missing-answer questions.
There can be many valid answers to one prompt. A guide promising a single universal “Krillion answer” without a date, edition and exact question is missing information you need. This page is an evergreen guide, not a daily answer feed.
Why was my answer not accepted?
- Wrong scope: reread the restriction. A place, person or object can be real and still belong to the wrong category.
- Name mismatch: try the full, conventional name. Do not assume the game recognizes every nickname, abbreviation or spelling variant.
- Different edition or date: an answer from another site or an older challenge may not apply to the prompt in front of you.
- Incomplete answer set: a plausible response can be missing. The original creator acknowledges that source coverage can leave valid answers out.
For Little Fun Games, check the revealed list for that question. For a disputed answer in either game, keep the exact prompt, your response, the date and a reliable supporting source when contacting its creator. An unrecognized response by itself does not prove the underlying fact is false.
