What is Fortnite Treasure Hunters?
Treasure Hunters is the next announced Fortnite season theme, promoted as a mini-season in current coverage, with a November 1, 2026 launch date. Epic’s October 24 teaser supplies the date; the current Override Battle Pass ends on November 1 in Eastern Time. The exact opening hour is not yet announced in the sources checked. The current context is Chapter 7; the season name and mini-season questions are the focus of this guide. Use the table below to distinguish the confirmed date from reported themes, cosmetic claims and unanswered gameplay questions.

What the announcement establishes
The reliable starting points are a name, a date and an update target. The official teaser promotes November 1. Epic’s developer-forum notice separately targets v43.00 for that day. The existing Battle Pass page gives November 1 in Eastern Time as its end date. Those are distinct sources with distinct scopes: together they help plan a season transition, but they do not establish a precise reopening hour.
Reported treasure-map and pirate imagery helps explain the theme. It does not establish playable locations, pass pricing or quest rewards. The four-status table below records those gaps explicitly. We have not converted a teaser into a route guide or treated an expected cosmetic as something already available to claim.
How to use the evidence table
Read a row as a narrowly framed answer. The launch-date row answers when the advertised day is. It does not answer how long maintenance lasts, when a console download appears, or whether a particular cosmetic is available at launch. A confirmed item can sit beside an unknown item without contradiction because the questions are different. This is especially helpful when several short announcements appear close together.
The First seen column means the first date we actually checked the evidence for this page. It is not a claim that we discovered a leak before another site, and it is not automatically the publication date of the source. The linked October 24 teaser and October 13 developer post remain dated as originally published. Our page checking date is October 25.
When a row says Unknown, read the unanswered detail rather than assuming the whole season is mysterious. Map changes means named playable locations and a usable layout, not the existence of artwork in a teaser. Battle Pass means its final contents and purchase terms, not the fact that Fortnite currently has a pass. Quests means instructions and rewards that a player can actually follow. Epic’s status page remains the separate source for operational notices.
Skins, crossovers and purchase decisions
Our recommendation is to separate three questions before making a purchase plan: has a collaboration been announced, has a particular outfit been shown, and has its release method been explained? A yes to the first question does not answer the next two. A teaser can be enough to establish a partnership while leaving the release day, individual characters and whether an item belongs to a pass or the shop unresolved.
Insider Gaming’s report describes an October 24 One Piece teaser from the official Fortnite account. We label that collaboration claim Reported here until the underlying official clip can be checked directly. This is more recent than the September report, which treated the crossover and full-season scope as unconfirmed. Neither publication is used here to promise a named character skin, a purchase price or a day-one reward.
If you are mainly interested in one outfit, wait for the announcement that answers your purchase question. Our practical advice is to inspect the actual pass or shop page, confirm the item name, and check which account you are buying on. Do not assume that a familiar character in promotional discussion is included in a paid bundle or automatically granted for logging in. This page provides a source trail, not a reservation list for unrevealed items.
Map changes and quest planning
The reported treasure-map imagery is a theme clue, not a navigable island guide. There is no verified route, coordinate list or quest sequence on this page. If a later announcement identifies a location, we will distinguish the official name from any travel advice that needs to be checked in the game. That is the point at which a landing suggestion can become useful rather than just an interpretation of promotional art.
For your first session, our recommendation is to read the in-game quest wording before choosing a landing point. Note the mode, objective and reward shown on screen, then decide which objective to attempt first. If you are playing with friends, agree on one task instead of each member following a different rumored location. The release-date guide has a short first-session checklist that works without inventing quest names or rewards.
If your immediate problem is getting the update rather than finding an objective, follow Epic’s platform-specific update instructions. A preparation task such as checking your download is actionable now; a route through an unpublished island is not. Use the relevant guide for the problem in front of you, and return to the evidence table when a new announcement changes one of the unanswered questions.

Release date and countdown
Fortnite Treasure Hunters is advertised for November 1, 2026. See the date countdown, Eastern and local time, v43.00 target and update checklist.
Read the guide →For the full timing explanation, including the Eastern Time calendar marker and your local conversion, open the release-date page. For the broader navigation and current-season context, return to Fortnite guides and tools. Both links remain useful before a complete gameplay reveal because they focus on the decision each page can already support.
If you are choosing another multiplayer game while waiting, Hood Warfare 2 offers a separate shooter introduction and RoFront offers strategy guidance. Those links are optional alternatives, with their own game rules; they are not evidence about Treasure Hunters.
